What’s included?

Over 800 questions and answers on contraception, the UKMEC, STI’s, early pregnancy, cervical screening and much more!

The Online Theory Assessment (OTA):

The OTA examines themes in contraception, the UKMEC, prescribing contraception for specific populations and basic STI management. It is taken online and is multiple choice.

A mock OTA is included with your subscription.

The Assessment half-day (AHD):

The AHD is made up of two exams, taken on the same day:

  • A written exam consisting of questions, including some free text answers and diagrams to label
  • A circuit consisting of 5 stations where candidates will be asked questions by an examiner across a particular theme (similar to a VIVA or OSCE). One station usually involves taking a history or explaining a concept with a simulated patient

The question bank will be most helpful for sitting the written exams, however the themes examined will be very useful to prepare you for the topics likely to appear in the circuit exam.
